Sony Playstation 5 Details
The PS5 technical specification creates an impressive list of components. Internal hardware such as the inclusion of a custom SSD storage device will allow developers to create a whole new look and feel to our next generation games.
We’ve been teased with some game play of upcoming PS5 titles including those expected to be released at launch. When complimented with one of our selection of next generation ready TV’s, you’ll get the full impact of what PS5 has to offer.
The titles we’ve seen look closer to an animated CGI movie, which is the result of the PS5’s higher frames per second, HDR and up to 8K resolution to name a few of the new capabilities.
There have been huge advancements in audio with 3D Tempest Engine being one of technologies we’re looking forward to experiencing.
The newly designed controller gives us an extra sense of immersion never experienced before.
Haptic feedback and button resistance varies the levels of tension in the triggers that will give us another level of realism.

Playstation 5 Accessories
With a new generation of Playstation comes a new generation of accessories. There have been upgrades to the accessories for PS5 which are as equally as impressive as the console itself.
Dual Sense Controller
The PS5 Dual Sense controller has had some major upgrades both in aesthetics and usability. The controller is slightly larger and weightier to hold than PS4’s dual shock 4 controller, but is extremely well balanced and comfortable to use.
The level of detail picked up when using the newly designed controller gives a level of immersion which has never been experienced before. Revamped haptic feed back and adaptive triggers allow developers to add even more realism which will vary depending on what you are doing in game.
An example of this would be if you were pulling a bow in game, the level of resistance will increase the further the bow is pulled back.
The controller layout is familiar to those who have used the Dual Shock 4 with no change to button layout. There is a built in mic and speaker on the controller which can be used for in game chat.
The micro USB connection from the controller has been replaced with a USB Type C connection with fast charging. There is also a 3.5 mm jack which can be used to connect a wired headset as an option.
Dual Sense Charging Station
The Dual Sense charging station is a very useful addition to the PS5 accessories. It allows 2 Dual sense controllers to be charged simultaneously.
The controllers charge at the same speed as when the controllers are connected to the PS5 console. They also act as a handy base to keep the controllers when they are not in use.
Pulse 3D Headset
Sony’s official PS5 headset is capable of producing precise 3 dimensional sound to immerse you even deeper into your gaming experience.
The Pulse 3D is another impressive upgrade for PS5 which connects wirelessly to your console. There are dual noise cancelling microphones and crystal clear sound, produced by the PS5’s Tempest Engine.
Pulse 3D is a plug and play device which connects easily with the included wireless adapter which plugs into your console.
The headset is extremely comfortable to wear with plenty of room in the ear cup, soft cushioning and adjustable head strap.
There is also a 3.5 mm jack which can be used to connect PSVR or a mobile device.
PlayStation 5 HD Camera
The PS5 HD Camera has had some upgrades to the PS4 iteration of the camera. The camera now has 2 lenses which are able to capture in full HD 1080p. The camera enables you to capture yourself in your gaming broadcasts and links with PS5’s built in background removal tools.
